Ingredients for 4 servings:
• 600 g Calvo squid in American sauce
• 1 onion
• 6 cloves garlic
• 1 teaspoon flour
• 1/2 cup white wine
• 1/2 cup fish broth
• 600 g potatoes
• 100 g peas
• 3 bay leaves
• 3 tablespoons oil
• Salt
Preparation
Chop the onion and garlic and sauté in oil over medium heat with the bay leaves.
Sprinkle the flour over the onion and garlic mixture. Add the white wine, cook over high heat for 2 minutes, and then add the fish broth.
Add the sauce from the squid, and add the potatoes, peeled and cut into medium sized chunks.
Season and cook for 15 minutes, until the potatoes are soft, shaking the pan occasionally to mix the sauce. Then add the squid and peas. Cook together for 5 minutes and remove from heat.
